Hythe Bay Children's Centre Out of School Club currently offers breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs for school aged children (4-11 years). 

Breakfast club is open to any child attending Hythe Bay Primary School from 7.45am. Breakfast is served at family tables and children may choose from a variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and preserves and milk.

The breakfast club is charged at £3.68 per day.

Early drop off club is where you can drop your child to the out of school club at 8.15am and avoid the school rush. Children of both breakfast club and early drop off club have some time to relax before then being taken to their classes for the start of the school day.

The early drop of club is charged at £2.25 per day.

After school club is a fun environment for the children to relax, complete homework and take part in a variety of activities and sport.  A healthy light tea is provided by the centre for those staying after 4pm. 
Children are collected from their classrooms at the end of the school day and the children will be ready to be picked up by parents at our Out of School Club room at either 4pm (pick up only) or 6pm.

The after school club (6pm pick up) including tea is charged at £13.42 per day.

The pick up only club (4pm) is charged at £6.10 per day.

Holiday playschemes are open to school aged children and offer days full of fun throughout the half terms and holidays. 

From May 2024, we now offer three sessions throughout the day between the hours of 7:30am-5pm:  

Morning Playscheme (£20)

8am-1pm

Afternoon Playscheme (£20)

12pm-5pm

Full Day Playscheme (£38)

7:30am-5pm

Whilst at our playschemes, children are offered a wonderful selection of activities and outings each day; from various arts and crafts, gardening and cooking activities, to sports and games, to trips to the local beach, canal and parks. Each day is different and children have the opportunity to develop many skills and hobbies.
We aim to create a real family atmosphere so that children can feel at home, relax and enjoy their time in the club whilst allowing parents to continue working through the school holidays.

Please note: The playschemes will only be able to run on days where there are enough children to make it feasible. Please register your interest for the holiday playschemes as early as possible.
